Day 293

Today's Lesson:

All fear is past and only love is here.

All fear is past, because its source is gone, and all its thoughts gone with it. Love remains the only present state, whose Source is here forever and forever. Can the world seem bright and clear and safe and welcoming, with all my past mistakes oppressing it, and showing me distorted forms of fear? Yet in the present love is obvious, and its effects apparent. All the world shines in reflection of its holy light, and I perceive a world forgiven at last.

Father, let not Your holy world escape my sight today. Nor let my ears be deaf to all the hymns of gratitude the world is singing underneath the sounds of fear. There is a real world which the present holds safe from all past mistakes. And I would see only this world before my eyes today.

Miracles I'm noticing:

It struck me as I read today's lesson how many times this course has to keep reminding us that the only things we really have to worry about are choosing love over fear and choosing Spirit over ego. It's really no more difficult than that. Yet we do need to be constantly reminded because the ego is so strong. The past is over ... there is no need to keep remembering all the human aspects of what has already happened - we need only remember our connection to Spirit.

When we are awake to the world of the Creator, we are creative - we see the world of gratitude and blessing and joy and hope, which is always there even when we forget. The sky is never gray - the blue sky is always there under the clouds.

What a miracle!
